ForumsSoftware ← Aalto & OS X Mavericks compatibility ?

haven't taken the plunge yet. anyone using Aalto 1.4.1. under Mavericks/w/Ableton with news to report ?

It works fine in Live 9 so far as I can tell. CPU usage may even be down slightly.

Nice. are you running Live v9.0.6 ?

I will not have a chance to try 10.9 for a little while. I don't foresee any problems, but ay reports would be much appreciated!

The new Garage Band X for 10.9 is sandboxed, which may cause a whole world of problems with Aalto and other plugins. I'll have to investigate that soon but for now my advice is, stay away from Garage Band X.

I upgraded to Mavericks last night and Logic 10.0.6 today, and Aalto is completely wonky, where it was fine last week.

I'm using the preset CutterLacker1 unedited, fading it in and out with Gain automation. The tempo of the sequencer is speeding up and slowing down. very odd.

It's doing exactly the same thing in Live 9, so I doubt it's Logic 10.0.6 at fault. Curious.

Well, the sequencer does speed up and slow down in that preset, you can blame it on Richard. :-)

Can you give me another example of something that has gone wrong?

I am so sorry. I swear I don't remember it doing that before. I just double-checked my track in Logic versus the bounce from a while back, and all is well.

Again, I apologize.

No problem!
