In the read me first file, it indicates that that patches are in a separate installer, and it says to download the installer for my respective platform. On the download page, I see an OS-X installer for the patches, but I do not see the installer for the Windows Patches. Perhaps I am totally just having a mental moment, but if someone could clarify this for me, I would appreciate it greatly.

I recently purchased Aalto and have spent a wee bit of time under the hood. I thought I would share my early impressions of this synthesizer.
In a market that can be perceived as somewhat overcrowded, Aalto is really something fresh and different. It has a characteristic and quality all its own. Like many people, I have a pretty good selection of instruments, but I can't come up with a single piece (hardware or software) that I can compare it to. In my opinion, that is quite an accomplishment.
As with anything innovative, a learning curve is to be expected. But, between the documentation and the intuitive nature of the synth, it doesn't take long to get a good grasp on the fundamentals.
Overall, this was a good find for me, and I am sure that I am going to enjoy the journey 'under the hood' of this instrument.
