These are the days. Randy, your work continues to inspire and create advanced forms of communication. Special things take time, chaos, fear, love, attitude, and letting go. This is already special and I'm looking forward to it in every sense of the word. Creation is Magic

Awesome. Randy's eurorack module with the Soundplane is going to be ground breaking and amazing. Looking forward.

The Haken Continuum has the MPE protocol plus many other features to take advantage of the extensions within Aalto and other tools for Sound utilizing MPE.

Hello everybody. Aalto is just fantastic. I love it. Thank you. Here's a patch I wanted to share with everyone.

For the meantime on the Mac we can zoom in and get a large display of Aalto and be able to use it without any distractions.

Randy, George, and David you have really done it. This manual is special for a myriad of reasons. Aalto is something special and eternal. This manual is the perfect companion for such a wonderful tool, instrument, and learning Experience. We shall expect the same with the purpose of Madrona Labs with the release of Soundplane A. Along with everything outside, inside, and in between. Thank you for Executing. You all inspire me.

Four Outs would be nice. Each Voice would have it's own output would be a great feature for Aalto.

Randy, it looks like there will be the opportunity to add either Scala or Tun files for Microtuning capabilities. Am I right by saying this? Aalto looks like a wonderful tool for the studio. I love the layout, the routing, and the sounds you posted are stellar.

My questions:

Aftertouch capabilities?

There is much to be considered here though in realty as we all know, Knobs and Sliders are always great to have, there are already plenty of them out there. From the CM Labs Motor Mix which you can find used for a small fee, to the portable Korg and Akai controllers . . . so to add knobs when knobs already exist is an interesting thing, that may be fabulous though it can rob the sole purpose of the Soundplane. I was even thinking that Livid Union's Block would be a great companion with the Soundplane. If anything . . . I would highly recommend having a version that is purely USB powered and will be interfaced with tools inside of your computer but also having CV and Midi for another and that would be an option to the buyer. CV and Midi would be magnificent and even without the Soundplane would be magnificent but knobs are not necessary. There are enough knobs out there in the Universe. I love the clean look of this controller without anything else to distract the whole point and that's the immediate, delicate, and hyper expressive control of such an instrument because that's exactly what it is. The possibilities, the ideas, and the unpredictable is what Computer and Electronic Music is all about. Just imagine the possibilities with Logic's Sculpture, Eric's Synful, Audeon's UFO, Applied Acoustics Tassman, and now Aalto . . . there's some serious things underway. I'm looking forward.

Hello Randy and the rest of the team at Madrona Labs. I have been following this page now for a few weeks and I continue to be inspired and excited about the possibilities presented. I love the fact that there's passion, ethos, superior idea, and a Honest Concept driving the culture of Madrona Labs. I'm very excited about both the hardware and the software element. I look forward to adding your tools to my current setup to bring my ideas out of my head and from paper to fruition. Thank you for being.

Aalto appears to be a very special, personal, and beautiful instrument by design and it's opportunities to dive into the core of sound, expression, and tone to say the least.
