Hello. I came across the Instagram announcement from 6 weeks ago that AALTO is being beta tested with Linux and bitwig. I have also just subscribed to the Madrona labs newsletter.
If anybody is interested I am happy to test anything beta on Linux. I run:
Ubuntu Studio 24.04
Reaper as my main DAW.
I run Kaivo under WINE in Reaper. I purchased a full Kaivo licence in 2016. I was running Windows 7 then; I went all Linux in 2019 and used WINE from then on. Kaivo runs great under WINE and yabridge and works well in Reaper in Linux.
I have some experience as a Beta tester; I have tested a few other developer's software.
I don't expect any freebies etc if you wanted me to test; I would be happy to be getting it to work on Linux.
