Would it be possible to have the sequencer reset to the first step for all voices, when the DAW playback stops? either as a toggle or even via a button click?
When using the sequencer as a modulation envelope, stopping DAW playback will often leave a voice 'wide open' when multiple voices are used.
My workaround is to open Aalto, set the voice number to 1 and quickly start/stop the DAW for silence and then set the voice number back, before playing again.
I love the free running aspect of Aalto, but this can be quite disorienting once out of improvisation mode and in a more surgical/iterative workflow with multiple instances.

I'll definitely be working on some DAW integration things like this. When synced to host and playback is stopped it makes sense that the sequencer position should always be at 0 (+ offset). Thanks for the feedback.
