hey randy, i'm using windows 7 64bit,
on a lenovo thinkpad t410, intel core i5 cpu m 480 @ 2.67ghz,
32bit version of ableton 9.1.1
i'm looking forward to seeing what kaivo can do too and appreciate randy is busy, but this has been going on for about 5 months now and i'm locked into using aalto in 1 voice mode
any news on the update to fix the cpu issue?
i'm getting a constant 45/50% cpu usage on ableton 9 with 4 voices, even when i'm not playing any notes.
i've been put off using aalto for a while now cos of this problem, which is a shame cos it was my favourite synth till the scary cpu hike started happening.
hi again, i went back to version 1.3.2 of aalto so i could get rid of the cpu hike, but a lot of patches i've made don't work in that version, so looking forward to a fix for this problem

i'm having the same high cpu problems as the other guys.
cpu was fine on the previous aalto version.
i have the full version of aalto, just got the cm version of aalto
so i was wondering if maybe there's a new version of aalto coming soon?
i don't think i'd want a larger sequencer, but i would like more sequencers, available on something like 8 pads.
when i make a patch i usually have 6 or seven sequencer variations of it and click through the patches while recording the output to wav, it'd be great when playing live to have extra sequencer slots to click through on a keyboard.
i know you can change patches by putting them in a midi folder, but it's not as nice as having dedicated patch slots built into the actual gui.
this could also be good for the patch morphing feature i'd love to see added to aalto.
looking forward to the upcoming updates.
i'm finding the cm version of aalto pretty handy cos i can run quickly through all the patches i've made with the full version and they sound sometimes better as a single voice patch.
i often have quite a few different versions of a patch, the ability to store them as snapshots and morph between them would be great,
something like FM8 or Alchemy
hi there, i'm a new user of aalto
i'm having problems when i try to automate the synth,
i record automation, but when i open up the synths gui the patch resets and then reaper crashes,
is this a problem anyone else is having?
i'm using win7, lenovo thinkpad t410, reaper 4.31, aalto 1.3

seems to me that getting a version of aalto for the price of a magazine is a total bargain.
maybe you could use the magazine to line the bottom of a parrot's cage
