Randy, please check your emails asap

Thanks for putting my patches in Randy, Aalto is my favourite vst of the last few years with no exception.

For everyone else - Check out the new Frustphase Presets :)

Hello !!!!
I am back again

Here is my latest preset bank
Dark Signals for Madrona Labs VIRTA

Available here for 6 Euro -------- https://sellfy.com/p/WAFJ/

Its a collection of 50 patches for this fantastic Audio Plugin.
Ideally i would have liked to have completed more and released 100
but i now have a 4 month old daughter to share my time with

This bank includes 4 categories of patches
Including 27 Audio FX, 5 Audio Synths, 7 Drones and 11 Midi Synths

Thanks and Enjoy

Thanks Randy!

@jcliffe Wow, sorry i did not get back to you sooner. You did some crazy ass s**t with that Linnstrument. Thanks for posting this, its the first time i heard anyone use one of my patches.

I posted this in a thread of its own but it belongs here

This is a small selection of my personal presets for Aalto
Some have been used in 2 compositions for a friends radio broadcast i posted on Soundcloud here

https://soundcloud.com/bobswans/frustphase-night-of-one

and here

https://soundcloud.com/bobswans/vacuum-man-night-of-one

a few are more recent ones that have not been used.
These patches are mostly evolving drones and FX and may not be of any use but i thought it best to set some of them free, I suggest using a limiter while browsing presets as some of them are quite noisy. I realise 26 presets is a bit of a strange amount but i still have so many presets i need to use in my own stuff first and i feel this is a good amount to give away for FREE
The audio demo consists of me fading in and out of roughly 15 of the patches

I can confirm my issue with Midi program change in Ableton is fixed, thanks Randy!

HELP!!

I am really struggling with getting this to work in Ableton Live 9.1.4 and Aalto 1.5.0

I have followed the instructions in this thread
http://madronalabs.com/topics/2120-change-presets-patches-with-midi-program-change-automation

and its not responding the way i expected. It's not like i am new to using program change as i do it with several external synths.
I am using the midi clip pgm change slots in Ableton the same way as i would for anything else.

The instructions in the thread mention that the programs in the "MIDI Programs" folder should have a corresponding midi number at the end of them once Aalto has scanned them and i am not seeing this at all

Excellent, i look forward to the update

Here is a patch from my small collection of programmed patches
Its a sequence but has a nice tone that can be played on the keys while it runs

Here is a 30 min Drone/Techno/Soundscape i made with my own patches in Aalto and Live 9
http://soundcloud.com/bobswans/frustphase-night-of-one

Oh my, Only just read about this. Really looking forward to whats coming!!!

Nice! One of my favourite producers of all time. In fact it's the list on his website that made me buy Aalto

Hey Randy, sorry to be a pain but i was not expecting this as 1.26 is rock solid for me

OS Windows 7 Pro 32bit
Aalto V 1.3
Ableton Suite 8.3.4

With Aalto running i went to close the gui using the red X in the top right, This caused the gui to almost shatter on the right hand side and it went kinda black and Ableton crashed, I was messing with garfs MooseOnMars Patch at the time, It also happened about 5 mins before that but i did not notice anything out of the ordinary

Like i said, 1.26 is ROCK solid, Its never crashed

let me know if you need anything else

It might have just needed to be broken in, Those crashes happened in the first 10 mins of playing with the new update, I have played with it for about 2 hours and it seems to be okay

Man, That is sweet! @garf

@Djorkaeff - That TouchOsc Template sounds promising :) + some news on the update would be appreciated

Its been 2 weeks ;)
