ForumsSoftware ← Aalto 64 bit version not working

Hi,
just purchased a copy of Aalto, I like it a lot! But the 64bit version doesn't work in my host, Ableton Live 8.2.5 installed on Windows 7 64bit edition. Actually Ableton Live refuses to see the 64bit version of the plugin, it can see and load just the 32 bit version.

Fount it myself: ableton live still doesn't support 64bit plugins

Thanks for your follow up post! I had forgotten that myself and was going to have to look at this otherwise...

After a full format of my pc, Ableton 9.1 or Stido One 2.6 does not Allto. System, win 7 64 bit (And obviously both DAWs also 64 bit). I have installed both 32 and 64 bit versions of Aalto.

There is a problem with the 1.4 Windows release that is affecting some users. On some systems a required Windows support DLL cannot be found. Usually the user sees an error such as "msvcp100.dll was not found."  Depending on the host, you may not get a message.

If that is the problem, you may be able to fix it by downloading this Windows developer support pack:

This msvcp100 thing is my issue and I intend to fix it in an update coming soon.

Does this solution implement coding? If so I will just have to use the previous version until you have fixed it. I dont know anything about coding.

No, you don't need to write any programs! It's just a support pack install.

Please note that the 64-bit version of the service pack is here:

You need to install this version to use Aalto 1.4 in 64-bit hosts on Windows 7.
