So would Virta be suitable for this kind of sound? Or would I be better looking at Reaktor etc?
Oh it seems to be an issue with Reaper then. Logic X worked just fine and the beta seemed to remove the glitches.
I think I'll have to demo Virta from scratch then, as I wasn't getting the genuine experience.
So maybe I'm being dumb and not getting a key feature of Virta, but when I remove the audio pre patching from the output, I still hear the original sound, just a bit quieter. I imagine there is a way to just hear the oscillators?
Also I've been fiddling with knobs and can't get rid of a digital glitching sound. I'm on an i7 so I don't think Virta's overloading the system, they seem like artifacts.
That's great. But I can't seem to turn down the dry signal. I've browsed through the manual and played with some knobs but I still haven't found the right control.
