In an Aalto patch which uses the synth's sequencer, is it possible to make the sequencer pause or hold on a particular step for some arbitrary amount of time - then resume from there?
So far I haven't found a way to do this and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. I mean, I could stop the host/DAW playback but then that affects other stuff adversely ... Thanks for any help!
You could set the seq rate to 0. Depending on what you are doing getting it to resync when it starts up may be an issue, but if you control it with say MIDI automation you should be able to put the startup control change anywhere near the right time, and the clock should sync back to the host clock.
